Snowy winter photos

Now that the snow has all gone and we are beginning to think of Spring, I wanted to post a few of my favourite snowy photographs.  These were mostly taken in Beaconsfield (Buckinghamshire), but there are a couple from the French Alps too!  There it was unbelievably cold – minus 15 degrees much of the time, which meant wearing every item of thermal clothing I owned in order to survive.  Sadly, it was not ideal for taking photos as my I had so many layers to peel off before I could get to my camera, and only a few seconds out in the cold would render them freezing.  But I managed to capture a couple of magical frosty trees and landscapes – here they are:
